Robert Lewis is an Officiant that is licensed to perform weddings in Ontario for couples from all backgrounds. He would be honoured to work with you to create a ceremony that reflects you both… from simple I do’s to ceremonies incorporating family and cultural traditions and more.
Robert is a non-denominational wedding officiant. He got started as a wedding officiant when a really good friend of his was getting married and wanted him to be a bigger part of the ceremony. The experience was incredible for Robert and he’s never looked back.

Civil Ceremonies are brief services which are legal in Canada. A civil ceremony is like a city hall service – short and basic. Your service will be 15 minutes long. Simple and beautiful!

BLENDING OF THE SANDS
The ”Blending of the Sands” ceremony can be a beautiful and meaningful alternative to the Unity Candle ceremony. Like a Unity candle the pouring of two different colored sands together is used to symbolize the joining of the bride and groom or the joining of their families.

I have been married now for almost 10 years and we formed our family by adopting two beautiful girls. We are so proud of our little multicultural family. I bring this background of openness and love to the weddings that I do. My career is in education but performing ceremonies is my passion. I perform ceremonies for couples from all backgrounds, genders and religions. I would be honoured to create a wedding service that reflects you as a couple.

Rob is a close personal friend and we wanted him to be a bigger part of our wedding Day. We also wanted a ceremony that reflected us both without being bogged down with religious formalities.
